How do I sign up for 1Pensacola?
Easy! Just go to http://1pensacola.com/share-the-love.php to register. Fill out the brief survey and you will be automatically signed up.
What is the cost?
Free! The program is supported by Visit Pensacola to promote area businesses and tourism.
After I sign up, what do I do?
Go to your business and/or personal Facebook page and "Like" the Visit Pensacola and 1Pensacola Facebook pages (you can also make them one of your business page favorites), and we'll do the same! Then look for other area businesses to also "Like" and add to your favorites, and we’re sure they’ll "Like" you back too. It's all about Sharing the LOVE!
What if I don't already have a Facebook page for my business?
If you already have a personal Facebook account, just login. Then go to http://www.facebook.com/help/?page=904#!/pages/create.php. Remember, once you choose a Facebook business page name, you can't change it. If you still need help, your local Chamber will be setting up a one-time workshop to help you get started. If you don't have a Facebook page at all, just go to www.facebook.com and sign up.
How do I make Visit Pensacola, 1Pensacola or other business pages a Favorite on Facebook?
Log in to Facebook. Then go to the Visit Pensacola or any other business Facebook page that you want to connect with. One the left hand side, click "Add to My Page's Favorites", and select your business name on the dropdown menu.
How do we know when our business will be featured as the Daily Spotlight?
Each day we will feature one business as a Daily Spotlight on the Visit Pensacola and 1Pensacola Facebook pages. Your business Facebook page and website will be tagged in the post. Every Friday, all businesses featured that week will be included in a 1Pensacola blog post and linked on Twitter #ff (Follow Friday).
How else can I help support 1Pensacola and be involved?
Get your friends to become fans. Get engaged. Support all business and community pages! Talk to "fans" on your business Facebook page too. Post questions or information about your business and encourage interaction with your supporters. Also check out the I ♥ Pensacola, I ♥ Gulf Breeze, I ♥ Perdido Key and I ♥ Pensacola Beach Facebook pages, and tell the world what you ♥ about our area. Share pictures and videos and encourage others, even outside of the Pensacola area, to "Love" our communities. Anyone can take pictures with the printable I ♥ signs wherever they live or travel and post to the pages also.
I own more than one business. Can I enter all of them?
Absolutely! Just make sure to register each business separately with individual Facebook page and website information.
How can my business be included in the 1Pensacola iPad promotion?
If you provided a web address, your company website will automatically be included in a categorized bookmark directory of the web browser on the special 1Pensacola iPad. If you have a brochure, postcard, print ad, commercial or radio spot that you would also like to feature, please send them to Mike Craney at Mike@ewbullock.com or call Mike at 850-438-4015.
